So Casey is a “scripter,” meaning he uses lines and whatnot from movies and tv in his daily speech. Sometimes it’s just simply to rattle off an entire episode of Spongebob. Other times, it’s to say the funniest things you’ve ever heard. Ever. Lately, we’ve been watching a lot of “Phineas and Ferb” which is the greatest and best children’s show ever. If you would like to argue this point with me, take it to the comment section. Anyways, if you haven’t seen the show (you should really re-think your life choices) one guy yells “Curse you Perry the Platypus” a lot. So Casey has been doing a lot of cursing lately.
The other day Casey and Peyton were in the car and Casey was having a rough time. He’s starting to really understand that he has autism and that the autism is the reason he has issues with some things. He said, “Why do I have autism?” and Peyton replied, “Because that’s the way God made you, Casey.” (my heart got all mushy) Then Casey says, “God made me have autism?!”
“Curse you Jesus!”
…and you’re welcome.
I completely agree. Phineas and Ferb is the best!
That's a hoot! Now don't curse me – I have never seen the show before – does it help because I don't have children?
I love it! And we're a fan of P&F too. We've even watched it without the kids.
I have a 'scripter', too, who is also fond of quoting P & F and Spongebob (I swear, there is a Spongebob line for EVERY SINGLE SITUATION IN LIFE!!!). We hear "Curse you, Perry the Platypus" on a regular basis, too. It cracks me up that Casey used it for Jesus. I am quite sure God understood his heart and was laughing, too.
That is funny:D
Haha! We love P&F too!
