Blushfield Spots

Yes. Two of the same picture. I wanted to point out one of the coolest things about Down syndrome. They’re called Brushfield Spots.

“Brushfield spots are small white or grayish/brown spots on the periphery of the iris in the human eye due to aggregation of connective tissue, a normal iris element.”

Can you see them? It’s just more proof to me how special she is. Her spirit is so bright, she has lights in her eyes.
