As you can see I changed my creepy little baby widget thing to the left. We found out today that we are having a girl-but just one. The other baby stopped growing at about 8 weeks…the doctor should have caught it at my last appointment, but didn’t. We went to a little ultrasound place IN A MALL (yeah, Utah is something else) and a kind OB from Europe patiently waited a LONG time for her to show us. He says he’s 100% sure it’s a girl. We don’t know why the other one didn’t make it. I’m pretty sad about it, but I know that things like this happen for a reason, and I still feel so blessed to be able to have another baby. We didn’t know if we’d even get so lucky for that again.
Congrats on the little girl! Sorry to hear about the other little baby!
I guess the Lord prepared you by having that experience about Acceptance before learning the sad news. Congrats on producing offspring of both genders!
Lots of love to you!
I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but I am also really excited to hear that you are having a girl. She'll be awesome just like you! And that truly is a blessing!
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, Lexi. I'm happy to hear about you guys adding a baby girl to your beautiful family, though!

Lexi, I'm so glad you felt like sharing this. It truly is about acceptance, your girl will be lucky to have a family like yours!
My heart hurts so much for you sis. I love you so very much. I am SO grateful that you and I could have little girls together- to be as sweet of friends as Carter and Cole. Chin up.
Sending love from here to UT! I'm so sorry to hear that you'll just be having one, but happy to hear you'll have a sweet little girl! I'm sure she'll have all the personality you can ask for! =)
I had the same thought as Pam. Having those thoughts on acceptance may have helped you prepare (somewhat) for this news. The loss of one of your babies must have been a difficult thing to discover.I am happy to hear that you'll get to experience life with a girl. It will be fun to see what she adds to the mix!
Oh Lexi, it's so hard to know what to say… as excited as you must be to be having a girl, I'm sure it doesn't make your loss hurt any less. Praying for you and your crew.
i love you. you're stronger than you know. there was a special spirit in that room, and i think that man told you for a reason. i hope everyone gives you space to deal with it you'll want to talk about it eventually i'm sure. yay for baby girls!
Congrats about the baby. sorry the puggle didn't work out.
